A comprehensive preventive care delivery system is provided through the Division of Preventive Medicine within the Department of Medicine. The physicians accept referrals from businesses and individuals interested in health advancement.
Preventive Medicine assists individuals in developing interventions aimed at reducing the likelihood of disease through the following:
- periodic comprehensive physicals
- monitored physical conditioning for cardiac at risk patients
- periodic evaluations/assessments of risk for disease
- treatment of risk factors for cardiac disease
