• Age 65 and older
• Average length of stay 7-10 days

Number of Beds

• 20

Nurse/Patient Ratio

• 1:6-7

Rotation/Shifts

• 12 hour shifts 7a-7p and 7p-7a

Skill Mix

• Registered Nurse - 46%
• Patient Care Technician - 54%

Nursing Unit Orientation

• 4 – 8 weeks depending upon experience
