The Trauma and Burn Intensive Care Unit provides critical care for trauma and burn patients requiring intensive therapeutic interventions resulting from injury.

Nurse/Patient Ratio

• 1:1.5-2

Rotation/Shifts

• 12 hour shifts 7a-7p and 7p-7a
• Work every 4th weekend

• Registered Nurse - 89%
• Patient Care Technician - 11%

Nursing Unit Orientation

• 10-12 weeks for New Graduates
• 10 weeks for Registered Nurse Interns
