The RN Internship is a paid six-month program offering the new graduate Registered Nurse a unique opportunity to experience a variety of specialty nursing units.

Qualified applicants will complete a panel interview to be evaluated for professionalism, critical thinking, motivation and flexibility. While in this program, the new graduate will have the opportunity to gain experience in a number of different units all under the guidance of a trained preceptor.

Upon completion of the program, the intern is able to select a unit for permanent placement that best matches their interest.

Program Structure

• Six month duration
• Rotate to six different areas
• Intern selects from two tracks
  - Acute/Critical Care
  - Women’s Services
  

Program Dates/Application Window

• January – Applications accepted now until November 10, 2008
• June- Applications accepted from Feb. 2 - April 7, 2009
• September- Applications accepted from June 1 - July 15, 2008
